Winter 2024-25

The Clark County School District has strategically utilized over $777 million in funding from ARP ESSER III to address the immediate impacts of the pandemic and invest in long-term educational success. Since the summer of 2021, these funds have been directed towards accelerating academic recovery and enhancing support for educators and students, leading to significant improvements in student achievement. Adjustments in funding strategies have expanded professional development and enriched curriculum projects, preparing educators for a dynamic educational environment. The District also prioritized increasing equity and access through new technology upgrades and curriculum initiatives, ensuring that all students have access to the necessary resources for success. Targeted interventions for students most affected by the pandemic include the establishment of Reading Skills Centers and the implementation of comprehensive mental health supports. Additionally, substantial investments were made in the District’s educators, providing them with professional learning opportunities and pathways for advancement at no extra cost. These efforts are supported by strengthened partnerships with community organizations and local universities, integral to the district’s ongoing recovery efforts.

With continued planning and community support, the district is committed to sustaining high-impact projects as part of its commitment to rebuilding post-pandemic.
